As many of you, we are deeply shaken by the situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip. Regardless of the politics, we see people dying and suffering, and harming civilians — especially children — is unacceptable. If you want to help, Numa, Inc. endorses humanitarian aid organization INARA
INARA was founded by our friend, Arwa Damon, a Syrian-American journalist who is a former senior foreign correspondent to CNN from the Middle East. Arwa reported on the war in Iraq, including the trial and execution of Saddam Hussain, on the Syrian civil war, and on the 2012 Benghazi attack. She covered the battle of Mosul, and worked in Congo and Sudan, among other places. After retiring from journalism, Arwa founded and leads INARA (the International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance), which is a humanitarian aid and non-profit organization.
INARA provides medical services for children who have been wounded in war zones, as well as rehabilitation treatment for them. As of August 2018, INARA has managed to provide treatment to over 150 refugee children.
Now, INARA is launching a rapid response to Gaza. We trust Arwa and endorse the endeavor of INARA.
